The patterns seminar was held on Saturday 26th February. There was an excellent turnout and despite it being a 3 hour seminar the time flew past. The main focus was on power and the control of techniques. All those in attendance agreed it was a good seminar, time to get practising those patterns folks !!

I have sent out an email regarding a renewal charge for expired licence applications, this comes into affect from 1st February 2011.

Licences that have expired up to 3 months incur an additional £5

Licences that have expired more than 3 months incur an additional £10

Scott is on holiday from this week, Paul is not able to cover next Tuesday as he is on shift at his work.

Please note Tuesday 10th August, there will be no class.

Class will be on the following week though 17th and start back on the Saturdays on the 21st August.

Please remember and get in touch with me asap if you wish to attend the Korean Olympic team training session on the 20th.

There will be no class on Saturday 3rd October 2009. Duloch lesure centre is being taken over by

RSCDS. so no room for us.

Grading

Next grading is 10th October, its a Saturday and will be from 10 am til 12 noon.

Any questions please ask !!

Your Instructor will hand out applications at the next class to those able to sit the grading!!

Seminar and Blackbelt Grading 20th-21st June 2009

TWO Pilsung Taekwondo students have been rewarded for years of hard work and dedication to their art by gaining their next belts.

Andrea Lawlor, was awarded her 1st Dan black belt at an examination in Coatbridge. Andrea becomes our very first black belt that has came up through our ranks, well done on your promotion !!

Ben Towers, was awarded his 3rd Dan Black belt and he is still a teenager !!! This is a fantastic achievement at such a young age, congratulations.

The pair had to undergo a very hard training session that had many people suffering !!

Ben and Andrea were joined by Rebecca on Saturday at a seminar hosted by Andrew Campbell of Camran Taekwondo. They along with Scott were put through their paces by Grandmaster Lindsay Lawrence 7th Dan and Master Mark Middecombe 7th Dan, assisted by Lindsey Bell. All senior grades of Chungdokwan GB.

This was the first visit to Scotland and everyone commented on the standards of techniques on display.

Thanks to all those who attended, your support is appreciated, I know some people missed the event, but rest assured. MORE will follow.
